Hi,
Thought these may be useful. Generally most forums have them, but we may have a few members new to this.
These are in place to ensure our community has a comfortable atmosphere for all members.
Forum Rules and Guidance.
1. Keep all conversations polite and respectful - this is a local community website, so you are talking to your neighbours. This should go without saying, but treat others as you would like to be treated!
2. Generally don't post your address, telephone number, etc. Even on the members-only area, it's still better to be safe.
3. Please do not spam. The definition of spam is an irrelevant or advertising post. Spam will be removed, when reported.
4. Please do not post text in all CAPITALS since this is considered to be shouting and is not necessary.
5. Please refrain from posting large images or attachments. This is then considerate to members with slow internet speeds, and keeps the forum looking tidy.
6. Using red text is generally for moderators and administrators of a forum. Too much red just makes the key items harder to then find.
7. Please be considerate in language you use on the forum - just don't swear unnecessarily.
9. No hacking or illegal activity, such as torrents or posts to illegal downloads.
10. Please do not post inappropriate or offensive material.
As usual on any forum, posts can be reported to moderators or admins that can then edit and deleted posts, as well of issue warning and ban members (if necessary). Admin decisions are final.
Any questions on these then just post below.
Thanks,
Admin
